Input... from those I trust and appreciate

My dear friends,

So I admit - I have so many passions - I love so many different things.... everything from Jane Austen, to architecture, traveling, photography, crafts, hiking, running, etc.... I really can't name them all!!!

Though - with my many adventures from my real time job to North South Creations - I need some input about another little adventure that I'm passionate about....  My husband and I love to stop at new locations, find new little good 'ole American places to visit - I love to photograph them.  Since I have a degree in Film and Video Production - photography is apart of that education.  So I started photographing these lovely locations - everything from cute little restaurants, cafes, and Bed and Breakfasts.

I've created a little website, blog and Facebook page demonstrating my photography and I would love any of your feedback!!!  Plus suggestions of other fun locations you might know about.... I might not be able to go to them anytime soon, but if this becomes something bigger than what I expected - maybe I'll be able to :)

Now this doesn't mean I'm going to stop with my Etsy shop and new creations, this is just an addition to everything else :)  (as if my life isn't busy enough) :)

So please give me some feedback - "like" my little Facebook page and please let me know if this is crazy, good idea or what I should do differently :)

God Bless!!!!

Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion in one day! Oh my

I was sick this past weekend, so that meant sitting and enjoying Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion - truly a  good time especially when you are not feeling well.

Though while I was watching these movies, I am constantly reminded of what a great author Jane Austen was and how much I love listening to how they say things both kind and rude :)  How in the world can you say something so rude yet make it sound so sweet :)

So I felt like posting another fun cup that we've created!!!

Phew... Holidays.... Italy and Israel... now onto North South :)

Hello Everyone!

I truly wish you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years!  I had a great time with my family and husband - this was our second Christmas together and it was extremely special!!!

Right after New Years, I had to head out with my real job to Italy and Israel.  It was a lot of fun, but exhausting at the same time.... I just got back and am currently dealing with jetlag, but I 'm ready to get
back into North South Creations... all that to say - this week I'll be doing another giveaway for those
that are looking for a fun Valentine's Day present :)  or just for yourself too!

For those who won the most recent giveaway - I'll be sending your cups out this week - so sorry for the delay and I'll be including something else special just to make up for your long wait :)

God Bless!
Leah

Here is a picture of our crew - I'm right in the middle :)  I've got a large battery belt on my shoulder and we were in front of the famous fountain in Rome - if you like the movie Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn - it was in that movie :) :)

The Winners :) - Yes more than one!

So I'm horrible at giveaways because I truly just want to give one to everyone, but I admit USPS would put me bankrupt with how much it costs to ship these babies :)

Ultimately, the results turned out that Katie from Paisley Print Shoes brought in the most people to the site, but then also I did a random number generator out of the entries and also littlehousebigheart.com was choosen for the second cup :)  Since I thought it would be fun to make someone elses day.

So Katie expect in the mail a "laugh as much as you choose" mug and littehousebigheart.com expect your own "the person be a gentleman or lady" mug :) :)  I just need your address' right now :)

Merry Christmas Everyone - I'll have more fun giveaway and just got a new stack of Jane Austen quote mugs to put up online - I cherish any comment, so let me know what you think :)

Another Giveaway!!! A Jane Austen Cup :)

Ok.... so I've been promising another giveaway and I admit this Christmas season has blown me away with how busy I'd be with my little store :)  I'm not complaining - I'm actually thanking God.... He has provided through this little store and allowed me to give back to Him as well through it :) :) YEAH!

But I've been so excited about these dishwasher safe mugs, that I had to do a giveaway - so here is the deal.

Please make a suggestion of the next Jane Austen Cup you'd like to see - perhaps it is a quote you like best or one of the already created mugs.  List your "suggestion" in the comments area and then have your friends and family come to my blog or facebook page and vote for your suggestion :) (trying to get a little more traffic to my facebook page)  Whoever gets the most votes :)  Wins the cup of their choice or a cup created just for them.... that is the beauty of this.....plus it is dishwasher and microwave safe :)  You don't have to be extra careful with it like some of  my other creations (not bad talking my other creations - they are super cute ... at least I think so, but not dishwasher safe :(  )

So start making your suggestions! :)  The dates are December 7, 2011 (Pearl Harbor Day!) to December 14, 2011.  I hope to get the cup out to the winner so they can have an extra present for themselves under the Christmas Tree :)

Merry Christmas and God Bless!

Jane Austen cups - oh my!

So I'm thrilled to announce that we've created a Jane Austen mug that is dishwasher safe, though it is not written by hand (like I've usually create them).... this has my own little touch to it, as I created the graphics :)  Simple yet elegant :)  In the midst of trying to see if we can get my handwriting on the cups instead, will keep you updated :)

So here is the first cup we've created for all our Jane Austen fans - including myself :)

God Bless!

Let me know which Jane Austen cup you'd like to see next as a dishwasher safe cup.... will be doing a giveaway in a few days, once I regain my sanity from such a busy few weeks :)  Though I am very thankful!
